Basement Development

This project transformed a damp, low-ceiling basement into a bright, functional hub for entertaining. The client, a professional chef, wanted a spectacular kitchen with a large island, plus a comfortable seating area, a WC and a clever utility tucked under the front steps. The front garden was lowered to provide outdoor space linked to the kitchen, and a new rear lightwell staircase brings in natural light and easy access. Upstairs, the old kitchen was converted into a smart dining room, creating a seamless flow between levels. This was my first solo basement project after years working for London Basement, making it a particularly rewarding milestone.
