About Me
I founded Susie Faulkner Planning & Design in 2016 to help people make their homes more functional, comfortable, and enjoyable to live in. From rethinking layouts to solving tricky design challenges,
I focus on creating spaces that work for real life - tailored to the way my clients actually live.

I studied Interior Design at Chelsea College of Arts, where I first discovered how much I loved turning ideas into plans. What started on the drawing board soon moved into CAD, and a job at The London Basement Design Studio.
I loved my time there zipping across London on my Vespa to meet clients, survey homes, and prepare drawings and planning applications, including for celebrities (George Clarke and Ricky Gervais to name a couple)!

Now based in Great Bowden, I run my studio from our 350-year-old cottage (my biggest renovation project yet). Most days you’ll find me sketching layouts, preparing planning applications, or refining drawings … usually with my dog snoozing under the desk and my cat watching from the window.

For me, design is about people first. Every project is a chance to solve challenges, tell your story, and create a home that feels like you. Whether it’s opening up a kitchen, adding an extension, or guiding clients through the planning process, I’m here to make sure you feel supported, understood, and confident every step of the way.
